  10. I cant comment for King the Land as I havent seen it. BAYM is a slow burn compared to many romantic Kdramas and I looove it. Their chemistry was undeniable at the start even when they tried to (almost) kill each other in episode 1. Things like accepting someone’s food with hesitation but then secretly praising it after, or rooting for that person in your internal monologue to win in a life or death cooking contest while maintaining your royal authority to uphold rules is far more romantic and exciting to me than an open courtship between the ML and FL. Without much overt romantic scenes, their chemistry still overflowed and that is the magic between Chaemin and Yoona.
