Actor Ha Suk Jin garnered attention by revealing the luxurious family home he grew up in. On September 5 KST, Ha Suk Jin shared a new video of him running an errand for his mother, who was overseas in Germany. The actor said, “It’s the house that I grew up in and the house that I lived in until I moved out. Now, my mother lives in it.” As for his errand for the day, Ha Suk Jin revealed, “Last year, when my mother was overseas, a water pipe burst and flooded the house. To prevent that from happening again, she has told me to go check on the house periodically.” The actor then gave the filming crew a tour of his family home, including a view of the entrance to the underground tunnel leading down to the ‘Parasite’-like basement, the high-tech refrigerator, the elegant European-style dining room, and more. While introducing various items and decor, the filming crew pointed to a piece of art by renowned Korean painter Heo Geon. When the crew observed, “If you get that appraised, won’t it be worth a lot?”, Ha Suk Jin answered, “This artwork has been in this house ever since I was very young.” The star also remarked as he introduced some old music CDs, “I remember listening to Beethoven, Brahms, or Karajan every Sunday morning while eating breakfast,” recalling his studious childhood.
