Ale jest pracy nad takim konkursem… Wszelkie czynności organizacyjne, PR-owe, osadzanie tego wszystkiego w całości…
David is awesome ❤
Tesla has handled it well
Ben,
Your coverage of the Chopin competition both on the official Chopin Institute and your own channels have been outstanding!!
I found the Chopin talks hosted by you during the intermissions very informative and entertaining. You have a way with words and your musical passion and empathy helps you extract from your interlocutors the best in them. I want to laude (pun intended) your sense of humor in particular, which has added an edge and light vibe to your conversations and musical musings. The latter is so rare in the realm of classical music, which, in Polish is sometimes referred to as "muzyka poważna" (serious music). Your empathy showed especially when interviewing guests with diverse levels of English or sometimes being overwhelmed by those talks. I can only lament that a lot of those talks you have had were embedded in some other lengthy material or late at night while waiting for the results, like the conversations on the Polish folk dances practice in Japan or the review of some documentary work coming our way.
I already congratulated Aleksander Laskowski on his excellent leadership of the communication of the event and engaging people like you in spreading the Chopin passion around the world.
I hope to see more of your excellent work in the future and cannot imagine the 20th Chopin Contest to be held without your presence in Warsaw. Dzięki. Wojtek
Shiori Kuwahara the best !
For me David Khrikuli and Vincent Ong!
Wonderful pianists and personalities! 🙏🎹🎼🎶🎵
What a joy and inspiration to listen to Shiori's playing. There were so many winners in this competion. So many immensely gifted artists. Thank you all and thank you Chopin Competition. And thank you to the inventors of the internet, digital computer science, , etc that enable us to witness these incredible performances that just go on and on.
Kuwahara should win….
The scoring method was like doing arithmetic, and apparently, even the judges struggled with it.
And the biggest change was that there was no longer a simple “yes” or “no.”
The Chopin Institute absolutely must change this.
And as for the judges… I won’t say who, but I think you all know.
David Is the best, he makes" natural" Chopin. It's amazing 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Witam. A przecież losy Chopina to losy Polski… Nasze rządy to porażka. Nie utozsamiajcie ich z narodem. Polska to najlepsze miejsce na świecie. ❤❤❤
Nie zgadzam się z werdyktem jury. Uważnie śledziłam konkurs, opinie ekspertów TVP Kultura w studiu, którzy wyraźnie powiedzieli, że to "makabryczny werdykt", "makabryczny do kwadratu" i "parodia".
GRATULACJE ! 🍾
❤❤❤bravissimo david chrikuli❤❤❤❤ lucshe vsex❤
Sprawiedliwiej byłoby losować !! te oceny jury to fikcja dla gawiedzi😢
No price for Shiori…Nevermind as she, her heart and play is PRICELESS.
The final results were shameful!!!!!
Bravo! David❤
What a completely baffling round of judging.
They made the contestants play the Polonaise-Fantaisie before the concerto, as if it were some kind of encore piece. That was just cruel.
Because of that, no one could perform at their best. In both the Polonaise-Fantaisie and the concerto, there were so many slips and wrong notes that everything felt a bit unsatisfying.
To make it worse, the results were announced after 2 a.m., when everyone was already exhausted. And on top of that, they had the gala concert the next day.
The planning and scheduling of this competition always feel a bit off.
Skandaliczny wybór zwycięzcy. Przenieście konkurs do Pekinu.
jury dramat !
Watch Khrikuli at a young age playing Liszt’s Mephisto Waltz.Undoubted genius.
Bravo Kevin Chen 🎉
What a shameful decision regarding Davit Khrikuli.
I never imagined that the current jury would repeat the disgraceful decision of 1980, when Martha Argerich resigned from the jury in protest, believing that Ivo Pogorelich — whom she described as “a genius” — should have been awarded the prize.
It is a disgraceful act. Given the high public interest, I would make public the individual decisions of each jury member.
As for the organizers, I would advise them to select more impartial members in the future.
The Khrikuli`s Face is like : "i know what will you do with the results"
1ml. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Corrupted. Helooooooo, non- of them was like David Khrukuli.
SHAME , shameful …
Shameless JURY….
I don’t think either Eric or Kevin deserves this place tbh. Kevin wasn’t as good as I expected after the third round.
The jury decisions turned out to be even more surprising than I had expected. For instance, I would have expected Khrikuli to receive more recognition for his unique and compelling artistry.
Lu is a 2nd class pianist chosen by a 2nd class jury. That's how it is.
What a shame! No medal for SHIORI KUWAHARA? Speachless!
David Khrikuli was simply astonishing! Delivering a breathtaking performance full of passionate intensity and technical brilliance truly set him apart from the rest. Bravo!
O której ostatni koncert
Artistic competitions in Chopin piano-performance are inherently subjective and often uneven. I believe the top five finalists should receive the same prize, as they are all outstanding and equally skilled in both technique and performance. The final result often comes down to the jury’s personal preferences.
On a related note, I do not support the harsh criticism directed at Eric Lu. He was chosen as the winner, and he does not deserve the unpleasant comments being made. While these remarks may be aimed at the jury, they ultimately affect him on a personal level, which is neither fair or elegant for Chopin fans.

37:15 I've waited 5 years to hear those chords. This is the Polish soul. Eric Lu, don't worry about some of the naysayers you definitely deserved to win this competition. These days everything has to have some element of politics involved, don't worry about it.. The Polish appreciate your skill and love of Chopin. Please come back and visit us for the anniversary, the 20th Chopin Competition, you need to be there.
Clearly David deserved a top prize. 🏆 He was thrilling in the best possible way – the improvisational nature of Chopin’s music – impressionistic and romantic but never, ever mushy or trite. Clear as a bell for every note. He played his socks off and the sound he elicited from those keys will be hard to forget. But we have judges who are connected to those brash sounds of these modernistic pianists … who are percussive and even bombastic while it clearly doesn’t add to sonority or clarity and certainly not to the beauty of Chopin’s genius.
