Vicent had during the Polonaise-Fantasy. What an incredible artist you are.
Vincent’s tonality was incredibly beautiful, especially in the pianissimo passages. The instrumentalists, like the bassoon, played with joy rather than competing for volume. He was a true magician — bringing color and life to the entire orchestra, not merely a soloist with accompaniment.
Vincent's Polonaise-Fantasy is amazingly beautiful.
I'M CASTING MY VOTE FOR Vincent Ong 🖐 ✋✋
Fellow Malaysian here❤ Bravo, Vincent 🎉
Vincent❤❤❤
Vincent's music moved my heart. I support you, …from Jakarta.
The Shigeru Kawai has a beautiful pianissimo sound, especially in Mr. Ong's performance.
Vincent ong 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Vincent Ong. The performing arts, at their core, are something far too personal to be judged by externally imposed criteria. And yet, as someone who has played these pieces at a professional level, I can easily discern the technical level at which Vincent performs. I’m not referring to finger speed, but to the ability to produce different kinds of sound and blend them seamlessly into one fluid performance. What he does is truly, truly rare.
Go Tianyao Lyu
I vote for Tianyao Lyu❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Pls let Tianyao Lyu win❤❤❤❤❤
Tianyao Lyu's performance was the most worthy for winning, not just her beautiful playing, but also how she showed so much love with everybody after the performance.❤
Of all competitors in this session Vincent Ong managed best in bringing the virtuosic piano part to a satisfactory whole with the Orchestra. Bravo
Vincents 2nd movt so magical and make the time stops
Vincent is far superior to the first competitor from china. His playing really has substance, he has the necessary technique and the profound musicality. He's 15, so he could make a very brilliant career. The e minor concert had the right tempo, often it's too slugghish. And Vincent was able to keep the pace throughout the concert. Bravo!
The reaction of the crowd told it all: A real world class performance by Vincent. Will he be topped by anyone in the competition ?
This competition is clearly dominated by the emerging superpower. With a touch of Poland to gratify the nationalists. The best were brutally eliminated. Europe is selling out its soul and culture to the superpowers in exchange for military and trade agreements.

Vincent💚❤
Are some high notes of strings missing in the 3rd movement of the E minor concerto?
Vincent’s Polonaise-Fantasy bricht mir das Herz ❤
Pls, insert time codes
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Eric Lu.
beautiful music from phase to phase. Honest and heart warming. thank you so much Vincent.
Late joining the competition. Working my way through the finalists and up to Tianyao Lyu- she’s the best so far. First guy (Tianyou Li), nothing inspiring at all – eminently forgettable unfortunately. Second competitor Eric Lu? Better and he has some moments with beautiful tone, but fairly ho-hum like he’s being too careful and phoned in his performance. His tempo feels like it’s been slowed down to ensure an error-free performance rather than for musical reasons, at least nothing that’s compelling. A bit disappointing as I heard so much positive comments – perhaps he’s run out of gas? Tianyao Lyu? More like it with really beautiful moments of inspired playing but gosh I’m not a fan of her mannerisms and overall, barring some inspired moments it lacks propulsive weight and maturity. The Fazioli sounds spectacular though, as with Eric, it is Holographic, totally rich yet penetrating when you want it to sing. A lot nicer than the Steinway but we’ll see… Tianyao Lyu will mature like fine wine no doubt but this is a bit too Labubu for me. None of these 3 deserve to win, definitely not a competition that has introduced such amazing laureates over the years. Now on to Vincent…
konzertmeister changed ㅠㅠㅠ why~
Tianyao Lyu is like Clara Schumann. She gives herself over to the work, everyone else puts themselves above Chopin.
Vincent!!!
Ok now we’re talking – with Vincent, we finally get to someone who actually has an opinion that is well thought out musically and played with conviction. The best polonaise so far – one that hangs together as a musical painting on canvas and a concerto that can stand in its own and isn’t derivative “The standard E minor Concerto with a few personal touches” that the others seem to provide. Cons? His opening of the E minor was flubbed… twice. At this level, technical perfection is a given and mistakes can unfortunately be fatal. So it’s a pity, though he recovered and the rest was virtually flawless as expected. The third movt is a case in point – again played with conviction with a certain level of playfulness coupled with a certain blasé arrogance stemming from assured technical proficiency that captures Chopin’s intent well. However, while excellent overall, the performance doesn’t quite rise up to recent Asian competition winners (such as Seong Jin Cho or Yunchan Lim, though both are probably unfair comparison points).
And no the SK isn’t quite up to the Fazioli, which is disappointing. A top-tier sound that has its own distinct character compared to the ubiquitous Steinway and Vincent has the best control and tonal subtlety of the four, but the SK doesn’t quite get to the level of the Fazioli.
One final point… “Someone get this guy a piano” and a haircut, and a suit. For someone who plays that well, the presentation away from the piano is the equivalent of an antihero (anti-winner?). Hopefully that’s not going to count and it shouldn’t but Vincent needs a makeover…
Miss Lyu completely understands Chopin's compositions:singing, dancing,
and meditating on the piano; just natural and with almost superhuman skills on a overwhelming level!!!
Doesn't matter who wins. They should pick from a bag with little papers. I would chose Vicent just for the Larghetto.

I really hope Vincent wins
in this section, eric Lu wins.
3:35:32 xD
Such recitative is also similarly written in by Liszt in his Concerto 1 ii movt😊
So natural and beautiful
