in石垣島【Sax Cover】【PEACH】アルトサックスのデュオで演奏してみた【大塚愛】

今回は大塚愛さんの「PEACH」をデュオでリリースしました。
2007年に放映された堀北真希さん主演のドラマ「花ざかりの君たちへ〜イケメンパラダイス〜」のエンディングテーマでもあります。

どうもこんにちは、動画編集担当のぷぅです。
実は今週新婚旅行で石垣島に行っていまして、大変素晴らしいところでございました。
景色良し、空気良し、食べ物もお酒も美味しい、そして何より人が良い…
温かみのある人たちがたくさんいる空間で、楽しいひと時を過ごすことができました。

そんな今回は石垣島に楽器を持って行ったこともあり、夏の定番曲PEACHを現地ロケで撮影してまいりました！
カメラマン栗原さんのお友達で居酒屋「わがままきまま」のオーナー鶴田さんのご好意により、お店での撮影もさせていただきました！
動画のところどころに出てくる店内の大きい絵は”石垣島の素材だけで彫り師さんが描いた”絵だそうです。
細部に石垣島の砂が使われているなどとても繊細で素敵な絵が飾られています。

そんな石垣島での撮影にピックアップしたのが大塚愛さんのPEACHです。
私が学生の頃放映されていたイケパラは当時どハマりするほど大好きで、後追いで原作の漫画やらファンブックやら色々かき集めました（その頃から生田斗真さんが推しになっています）
人生で初めて買ったCDはこの大塚愛さんのPEACHのシングルでした（懐かしい…）

全て石垣島で、石垣島らしい動画が作れたのではないかと思っています。
夏っぽく、青春っぽく、明るく楽しいこの曲を石垣島という素敵な場所で撮影できたこと、最高でした。

We just dropped a duo cover of Ai Otsuka’s “PEACH”!
This song was actually the ending theme for the 2007 drama Hana-Kimi starring Maki Horikita — total classic!

Hey there, I’m Puu, and I’m the video editor behind this project.
So actually… I was on my honeymoon this week in Ishigaki Island — and wow, it was amazing.
Beautiful views, clean air, delicious food and drinks, and above all, the nicest people.
We got to spend some truly heartwarming, fun days there.

This time, since I brought my instrument along, we shot the video on location in Ishigaki!
Huge thanks to Kurihara (our cameraman)’s friend, Mr. Tsuruta — the owner of the izakaya “Wagamama Kimama” — for letting us shoot at his place!
You’ll spot a big painting in the video here and there — turns out it was made using only materials from Ishigaki Island, crafted by a local tattoo artist.
It even has local sand worked into the details — seriously cool and full of island vibes.

The song we chose for this Ishigaki shoot is “PEACH” by Ai Otsuka.
Back when I was a student, I was obsessed with the Hana-Kimi drama — I even hunted down the original manga and fanbooks (and yes, Toma Ikuta has been my fave ever since).
Fun fact: “PEACH” was the very first CD I ever bought — talk about a throwback!

I really think we captured the Ishigaki atmosphere in this video — summery, youthful, bright, and full of fun.
So happy we could bring this joyful song to life in such a special place.
