Indian markets ended last week with gains: Sensex +259 pts at 80,501; Nifty +12 pts at 24,346. Mid/small-cap indices dipped slightly. For the week: Sensex +1,289 pts; Nifty +307 pts. FIIs were net buyers in April (~$300M) and continue in May. The rupee appreciated ~1%, now ~₹84.47/$.
