映画『ほどなく、お別れです』が2026年2月に公開される。 長月天音のデビュー作を映画化する『ほどなく、お別れです』は、就職活動に全敗し途方に暮れる中、とあるきっかけで葬儀会社にインターンとして就職した清水美空と、彼女を厳しく指導する葬祭プランナー・漆原礼二が「最高の葬儀」を目指す物語。長月は自身も夫の5年にわたる闘病生活の末に死別し、悲しみの中、同じように悲しい想いをしている人を救いたい、そして、自身も書くことで救われるかもしれない、という想いで2年の歳月をかけて執筆したという。
葬儀会社「坂東会館」にインターンとして入社した新人葬祭プランナー・清水美空役に浜辺美波、美空をスカウトし厳しく指導する葬祭プランナー・漆原礼二役に目黒蓮（Snow Man）がキャスティング。初共演の2人がダブル主演を務める。
