  3. Mumumumuch has a lot references. The purple hills are a call back to Starry Night and the bed scene references the end of You're the Best and Um Oh Ah Yeah. It was the perfect next vid after Where Are We Now to calm the angst.

  4. Mumumumuch was one of two new songs on their 2 cd career retrospective album I Say Mamamoo: The Best. I always thought of it as a fan song, esp with the title, and even if it's not it overflows with the same kind of happy happy joy joy they always express when they talk about their relationship with moomoos. As you said, they know what they're doing and they were certainly trying to convey the pure bliss of being contentedly in love. This is about as close as MMM gets to a corny greeting card style love song and naturally they pull it off. When the song came out Moomoos asked whether Wheein had done the child's voice with a pitch shift effect (she didn't) so I cracked up when she did that line in the live video.
    Though the album has "The Best" in the title it's not a typical "Best of" album because the hits and favorite b-sides included aren't the original recordings so it's not a compilation album in the usual sense. They re-recorded the 21 older songs just for the album and almost all were remixes and alternate arrangements they had only performed live in concert or at award shows. Many of the songs have a "live in studio" feel about them, as though they recorded the band playing live in one take with minimal overdubs. The album is really a gift for moomoos rather than an album for casual fans who want a collection of MMM's hit songs.

  7. Mamamoo's Happy Song, basically, with so many references to their work and if I remember correctly, there are some spoilers for solo work as well, like choreos. BTW, did you see Solar new MV "WANT"? I think you only did a reaction to Byul and Hwasa's solo songs. If you're planning to do other solo reactions, these are my recommendations, all new songs:

    Solar – Want
    Byul – Hoshiakari or Memories (feat ONEWE)
    Wheein – Butterfly 2025
    Hwasa – Star or NA her latest song.

  9. Every song is good and yeah live they are wonderful, somehow live even watching a video years later you can still feel how it would be live. I have seen them live as well and they are just as good as these videos show. This song has a lot of references to their lore, the bed from your the best, the purple mountains from starry night. Hwasa always in a tub of water and a dozen more in the video. It was the only new song on their 2021 compilation album, all of the rest of the songs are remakes of previous songs, their pre-debut songs, mr ambiguous piano man plus rock versions of some songs, orchestra versions and more. That was the first concert for me, the 2021 live stream concert, then I saw them live in los angeles in 2023, Wheein live in 2024. The 2021 album is awesome, in fact I like most of the 2021 versions better than the originals. Mumumumuch was the only new song and was written by Cosmic Girl and Cosmic Sound a duo set of producers are RBW who have made a lot of hits for mamamoo and for their solo albums. You can actually see cosmic girl on solarsido with Solar singing duets of like 20 songs in 4 minute medleys.
