10. I feel like this is also a ripple effect of Lee Soo Man leaving the company. Ever since he was ousted from SM, things seemed to be worse off for Red Velvet under the SM 3.0 Center system.
    Quality of music? Fantastic as ever, yet…
    – views for their title tracks dropped off significantly ever since he left, barely outdoing old B-Sides like Automatic. For fans, numbers don't affect enjoyment, but for the company it might result in budget cuts for future comebacks or even cutting down on future comebacks entirely. We only got 1 comeback last year. We might have to wait longer now between comebacks.
    – disastrous marketing. Comeback announcements a very rushed, often lacking the teaser material of past comebacks like mood samplers or hi-res teaser photos, or sometimes even a lacking concrete date until a week prior.
    – Preorder windows small, limited supply
    – multiple MV delays after doing a whole a live countdown.
