Tbh some times it is the outfit.. like on one of the first with jihyo long white cowboy looking pants… It just looked too loose it didnt define her moves as well as momo outfit.. i dont even listen to twice but to me the outfits actually influence the strength of dance.. like nomo pants being slightly tighter gave her an obvious more controlled look… I know momo is considered one of the best but these videos put them on par.

Main dancer doesn't mean it always have to be about "energetic" its about adding techniques and skills in your dance or you can freestyle, Jihyo is the best performer but I'd say Momo is the best dancer in their group thats why shes chosen to be the main dancer
Fun fact: Jihyo originally wanted to be Main Dancer. As everyone knows she’s an insane vocalist. But side by side with Momo shes keeps up pretty well.
My belief is that whenever Jihyo gets to dance next to Momo, she enjoys trying to match her energy. Momo, in turn, enjoys that Jihyo is going all out so cranks it up. So in essence they are feeding off of each other.
