A song wishing you a flower-filled path ‘Jelly Box’s’ Third story: [Flower Way]

Gugudan’s Sejeong makes a solo comeback with the third Jelly Box project “Flower Way.”

Jelly Box is a new collaborative project started in 2016 by Jellyfish Entertainment. Jelly Box exhibits a diverse music spectrum of Jellyfish Entertainment artists, starting with Park Yoon Ha and Yoo Seung Woo’s “Summer Night Picnic” released in June, and showed Ravi’s capabilities as an artist in a collaboration with SAM&SP3CK “DamnRa” in July.

On November 23rd, Gugudan’s Sejeong, who is actively showcasing her talents on numerous broadcast programs, will show off her vocal abilities through the next Jelly Box project. The third Jelly Box track “Flower Way” was produced by Zico, a singer-songwriter and producer with a proven track record.

“Flower Way” was originally written only partially on a television program, but many requested for the official release of the full single, captured by the song’s beautiful lyrics, emotional melody and Sejeong’s warm voice. Following the show, Zico decided to produce the full song, and through his delicate producing, it was made into a beautiful healing song.

The third project “Jelly Box Flower Way (Prod. By Zico) Sejeong” is a song that starts with a melodic piano arpeggio with gentle guitar riffs and string arrangements that escalates towards the end, added to Sejeong’s sensitive vocals. Zico’s unique style of arrangement, which is characteristic in that it has a composition with the absence of drums, gave birth to a slow-tempo ballad that naturally affects the emotions.

The music video was directed by Dari and maximized the lyrical aspect of the song, with its warm colors and storyline. The use of split screens to contrast Sejeong’s childhood and present is also notable.

Jelly Box continues to break barriers by taking new attempts and tackling various genres and is developing as a representative project of Jellyfish Entertainment. Anyone who is a fan of music can look forward to the infinite musical potential of Jellyfish artists.

구구단의 “세정”이 세 번째 젤리박스 프로젝트 ‘꽃길’을 통해 솔로로 돌아왔다.

‘젤리박스 프로젝트’는 2016년 젤리피쉬가 새롭게 선보인 콜라보 프로젝트다. 지난 6월 박윤하와 유승우의 아름다운 콜라보 ‘여름밤 피크닉’을 시작으로 7월에는 아티스트 라비의 진면목을 알 수 있게 해준 SAM&SP3CK와의 콜라보 ‘DamnRa’까지 다양한 음악적 스펙트럼을 선보이며 대중들에게 많은 사랑을 받았다.

그리고 이번 11월 23일, 각종 예능, 방송 등에서 끼와 재능을 선보이며 사랑을 받고 있는 구구단의 세정이 젤리박스 프로젝트를 통해 보컬리스트의 면모를 선보인다. ‘믿고 듣는 아티스트’이자 최근 싱어송라이터 겸 프로듀서로서 큰 두각을 나타내고 있는 지코와 함께 세 번째 젤리박스 ‘꽃길’을 발매한다.

한 예능방송에서 일부만 제작되었던 ‘꽃길’은 아름다운 가사와 감성적인 멜로디, 따뜻한 세정의 목소리와 어우러지며 큰 감동을 주었고, 방송 후에도 많은 사람들의 음원 발매 요청이 있을 정도로 큰 사랑을 받았다. 이에 지코는 완곡 프로듀싱을 결정, 섬세한 프로듀싱을 거쳐 마침내 하나의 아름다운 힐링송으로 탄생하였다.

젤리박스 세 번째 프로젝트 ‘Jelly box 꽃길 Prod. By 지코 ZICO 세정’의 ‘꽃길’은 서정적인 피아노 아르페지오로 시작되어 잔잔한 기타 리프와 후반부로 가면서 고조되는 스트링 선율과 세정의 감성충만한 보컬이 더해진 아름다운 감성이 돋보이는 곡이다. 무엇보다 풍성한 구성에 반해 드럼이 존재하지 않는 지코만의 독특한 편곡은 계절감을 느낌과 동시에 자연스럽게 감성을 자극시키는 슬로우 템포의 발라드 곡으로 탄생하였다.

뮤직비디오는 따뜻한 색감과 감성적인 스토리 라인이 돋보이는 다리 감독과 함께 작업하여 ‘꽃길’의 서정적인 감성을 극대화 시킬 수 있었다. 또한 어린 시절 세정과 현재 세정의 모습을 분할화면이라는 독특한 편집 요소를 통해 보여주어 색다른 재미를 주었다.
