  6. The arrangement of that song is rhythmically complex, almost funky. That vastly increases the challenges of singing this as a duet. You can actually hear a little bit of rhythmic slop in the performance, and these are incredible musicians. In my eight years of listening to Kmusic, I haven't seen that very much. It's very common to find songs with harmonic complexity, but the Koreans generally keep with a pretty straight rhythmic feel. Thanks to whomever suggested this, and I'll check out that SM The Ballad project.

  19. First time watching this performance. Incredible!!!! My Chen… remember this was early in Chen’s carreer. And Jonghyn, is so sad to see him. Really I wish he was here today with Shinee. 😢

Shinee and EXO never really had mentor mentee relationship, EXO is SM's one of the Dream project which is why they started EXO's prep Years ago, EXO's YT channel is opened in 2006 , 6 years before their debut, Most EXO members are same age with Shinne members, Members like Suho and Kai literally train together, if Suho didn't have that accident, he might have debuted as Shinee and Taemin might end up in EXO.Apart from Baekhyun and Chen , pretty much all members trained together (Baek and Chen joined SM 4 months before their line up and got in EXO) Idk but I never feel EXO and Shinee had that much of a generational gap, Even Early EXO MVs used to feel like 2nd Gen( they are technically opened the door of third Gen)
    Shinee was famous and legendary, But EXO at that time were in their peak, at 2014, They were that Group, that industry thought no one can beat them( they were unbeatable till 2017)
    I don't think, Any SM group are as Big as EXO and Girl Generation( and seeing how SM lacking compare to other Companies, I don't think, we will ever see any bigger group in future as well)
