I have seen the live version of this. Su’s voice is so beautiful in it, and I love the drums, too.

  3. "METAL KINGDOM" is the anthemic opening of their latest album, The Other ONE. And this music video combines the studio version of the audio over the visuals from the BABYMETAL Returns concerts held at Makuhari Messe Convention Center in late January 2023. I'm super fan of the bridge with Su-metal's vocals over the chants and the instrumental accents. The live version is even better… and then, they added Momometal and opened the first show as a trio (again) with this. Just epic.

  4. Good reaction. This was their first live concert in nearly 2 years after taking a hiatus because of the pandemic and not being able to tour. They announced their come back with two concerts – BABYMETAL Returns – in January 2023 and this was the epic opening number with Queen Su regally seated on her throne.

    There were two stages at either side of the arena – the thrones one one and at the other side the Kami Band on the other. In between was the walkway splitting the arena in half with the crowd on either side and the moving stage that Su and Moa were on at the end in the middle of the arena also travelled along the walk way.

    As you said, this was the official video, so it was filmed at the live show, the audio is from the studio recording. I don't know which live performance you have seen, but there is a full live video from the PIA Arena in March 2023 for this song. That was Momometal's first concert as an official member and at the start all three of them – Su, Moa and Momoko – appear with each of them sitting on the thrones.
