  2. I do understand what you mean about the autotune (because it's EXO, right…not necessary) and it may be controversial but I respect your opinion.

  3. I love lotto personally especially as I already know they can sing, it’s also way better live but it’s definitely a 50/50 song so no one will judge unless they are fake

  4. i agree with you about the autotune, i personally do not like autotune at all. Ive had to accept that its all over the music industry nowadays.. but i prefer songs without it. And i would love Lotto a lot more if it didnt have the autotune, its still an great song, and the MV is awesome 🙂

  5. Totally agree with you about the autotune on this. I would recommend listening to a live version of this because it totally solves this problem for me. There are two official ones on streaming from their 3rd and 4th concert albums

  15. I remember hearing this the first time and thinking ‘they did WHAT to those golden voices?’ I was genuinely annoyed. I got over it but Lotto is never going to be in my top tier of EXO songs.

  17. EXO is probably one of the group i dont mind them using autotune because I know they can sing live and they dont need it. Unlike some people, who use it to sound better.

  18. The autotune has more to do with the lore of EXO. Like Tempo with the altered voice. When the voice changes it is not EXO but X-EXO (the clones the red force created ).

  19. For me, the purpose of the autotune in the studio/MV version of this song is to make everything sound creepy and unsettling, matching with the concept of the MV. In that sense, it does its job (it's not exactly subtle…)
    But what I listen to regularly are the live versions and I love this song very much. It was the year that I was really falling back into kpop so it also carries high nostalgia value.
