  19. I am not a NCT fan. So I am not biased. People keep talking about him like it has already been proven that he committed the crime. But the case is still onder investigation. It is handed over to the prosecutors; they will decide if there is (enough) evidence, witnesses and so on. He could totally be guilty. But.. he could also have had S.. with someone who regretted it later. There are various scenarios. So shouldn't we wait with burning people to the ground till we know more?

  22. I've always thought about the misogyny and that all these teen fans are envisioning some K Drama romantic scene. I am wondering what the effect of having the sasaengs stalking you and the fans not letting you date, the patriarchal views of women and the lack of freedom to to socialize easily and normally with the opposite sex does to these young people. None of that excuses any horrible behavior on Taeil's but I am curious as to how it might have exaggerated or compounded the behavior.

  25. It's funny, I wasn't on top of K-pop news (and I don't use social media) when Suga's scooter incidence came out, but it was everywhere on yt and that's how I knew about it. This? It's like SK media doesn't know about it. (I didn't even know the real crime had been revealed until now, when I've stumbled across this). It says a lot about the SK society and their media. They'll blow up every small insignificant thing but not the important issues. I wonder what they did about the case about men sharing intimate videos and photos of their female relatives on telegram. (Of course, I don't expect them to do anything. A society that places ultimate importance over their sons at the expense of their daughters would sweep this under the carpet like it was nothing).

What made me so angry, is that the media was so focused on Suga's DUI on a scooter, that Taeil's horrific case which did have a victim, and multiple perpetrators slipped quietly by with so little media coverage. Was that due to SM power? You cannot tell me that in those months from June – August the SM had no word of this. How did SM know to let him go just before the hammer hit? They were tipped off. Just like the Ditty case right now in the US, everyone is cutting ties and trying to distance themselves.

  28. Again not what he has done but what he is accused of. Not if the charges are upheld, but if he is guilty. Too many false accusations and lies so again need to prove guilt in Korean for me to believe. If he is found guilty 💯 he should be punished.
